For this work, the foundation was first excavated and then thoroughly cleaned with a high-pressure cleaner. Liquid Rubber HBS200 was applied directly to the transition between the concrete foundation and the steel facade cladding using an airless spray machine.
The Liquid Rubber HBS200 was armed with a Geotextile at the point of transition. It was then sprayed off with a second coat of Liquid Rubber HBS200.
Liquid Rubber has the special property of having a permanent flexibility of 900%. This combined with its broad adhesion capability ensures that difficult transitions of this kind can be sealed easily and permanently.
A beautiful finish that provides a durable waterproofing on this tricky detail!
