Product information

JointFiller is an elastomeric modified bitumen emulsion specially developed to be applied with a sealant gun. JointFiller is a cold-applied one-component sealant designed for a wide range of applications.

JointFiller's product technology provides a solvent-free, fast-curing coating resulting in a joint filler with excellent strength, elasticity and adhesion. JointFiller is an environmentally friendly product that can be applied both indoors and outdoors without special protective agents. JointFiller can be used for water, air sealing and corrosion protection.

Application
The sealant can be applied to concrete structures, wood and plastic window frames, roof structures and many all other substrates.

JointFiller is an environmentally friendly water-based alternative to solvent-based protective water- and air-sealing sealants. After curing, it forms into a seamless and permanently flexible joint filler. JointFiller is a one-component product that can be applied with a sealant gun. As JointFiller cures by evaporation, an application temperature of 15-20°C is recommended.

JointFiller should be applied to a dry surface, free from dirt, debris, oil or grease. Thoroughly degrease surface before application. Application is not recommended if rain is expected or in humid environments. See step-by-step instructions or contact Liquid Rubber Europe for more information. Normally the JointFiller is hand-dry in a few hours at 20 °C and fully cured after 72 hours. The drying time strongly depends on the thickness of the joint filler applied and can vary depending on temperature and relative humidity.

Important: In the case of applying a large amount of joint filler, it should be applied in several passes. JointFiller can shrink up to 25%. Carefully degrease again before applying the next layer.
